Women’s Conference

We are excited to announce that Empower is happening again this year! Join us at Lívdin in Hoyvík on March 21-22. This year’s theme is CHANGED!
We will hear from women sharing how they have experienced God’s transformative power in their lives.
Our keynote speaker will be Lavanya Dua, a doctor and woman of faith. She is passionate about helping people experience freedom from fear, stress, anxiety, and depression. Lavanya has “researched” the brain, focusing on its physical aspects, thought patterns, and spiritual dimensions.
We look forward to a weekend filled with meaningful conversations, tears, laughter, listening, worship, prayer, fellowship, and encouraging one another in life—together with Jesus and each other.
Practical Information:
- Light snacks will be available at the event, and there will also be a food truck outside where you can purchase delicious treats.
- The cost for the conference is 449 DKK.

Dr Lavanya Dua
Dr Lavanya Dua is a UK based medical doctor and has worked as a General Practitioner for more than 30 years. She is also an ordained pastor and is involved in Leadership and Pastoral Care at Equippers Church UK. Dr Dua has ministered across Europe and Asia, as well as in New Zealand, running seminars, workshops, encounter days, church ministry as well as teaching at conferences and on TBN UK Christian Television. Dr Lavanya’s teaching and ministry involves a combination of Biblical wisdom, prayer ministry tools, neuroscience as well as enabling people to encounter God’s healing power so that they are equipped to to break free from spiritual, emotional and mental health challenges as well as from physical diseases. She provides them with valuable tools in order to bring about significant and lasting changes to both mind and body. Dr Lavanya is married to Ravi, a business coach and entrepreneur, and has 2 adult children and recently, a grand-daughter!
